A historical step of the coronavirus vaccine is carried out in Turkey!
Turkey has witnessed historic moments! The first voluntary practice of the vaccine which is imported from China to Turkey, was held in Ankara and Istanbul.The first application of the vaccine was held at the Hacettepe University Medical Faculty, Marmara Medical Faculty and Istanbul University Medical Faculty in Turkey.

Hacettepe University Vaccine Institute Director Prof. Dr. Serhat Unal said that the coronavirus vaccine can be licensed around New Year. He also said “I hope there will be widespread vaccination programs in the first months of the new year.” Turkey coronavirus vaccine is a hope for the whole world affected by the coronavirus pandemic! Prof. Dr. Serhat Unal reminded that the whole world is in an effort to develop the vaccine that will prevent this virus. He added “I think it’s a human duty to contribute to these studies.”
Turkey was included in the phase-3 of the coronavirus vaccine produced in China.
In the study of Turkey coronavirus vaccine; The first voluntary application of the vaccine was made yesterday to 3 healthcare professionals at Hacettepe Faculty of Medicine. In the first place, 1300 volunteers will be vaccinated in 25 centers. This number will later rise to over 10 thousand.
